Frequently asked questions
Can FormGenius import forms from JotForm, Typeform, or Google Forms?
Not directly from those platforms' own formats. Export or print your form as a PDF first, then use Document Import to bring it into FormGenius. If you would rather start again, AI Generate can rebuild an equivalent form from a plain description in a fraction of the time.
What file types does Document Import accept?
Word documents (.docx) and any PDF, fillable, scanned, or a photo of a paper form. If your form was built in Google Docs, export it as a .docx file first.
Will my imported form look exactly the same?
Accessible defaults take priority over pixel-perfect copying. Layout, spacing, and page breaks are recalculated for accessibility rather than copied exactly, so review the result and adjust anything you want changed.
How long does Document Import take?
Usually under a couple of minutes, even for longer or more complex forms.
